Mono audio amplifier module based on the TDA7294 integrated circuit, designed for medium- and high-power audio applications. The board includes a rectifier and filtering circuit, so it can be powered directly from a transformer with a center tap (AC - GND - AC), without the need for an external symmetric power supply.
The audio input is line-level, compatible with mobile phones, computers, Bluetooth modules, audio players, and other common audio sources. The connections for power supply, audio input, and speaker output are made via screw terminals, for quick and secure installation.
Attention! This module must be mounted on a suitable heatsink. The TDA7294 IC can generate a significant amount of heat during operation. Using it without a heatsink may lead to overheating and module failure.
The module already includes the rectifier and filter capacitors, which is why it must not be powered with direct current (DC). Power is supplied exclusively from a transformer with a symmetrical secondary winding (AC - GND - AC).
Depending on the batch, the package may include a thermally conductive adhesive strip and a fixing screw for mounting the IC on the heatsink.

Connect the center-tapped transformer to the module’s power supply terminals (AC - GND - AC). Never connect a DC source to these terminals.
Connect the speaker to the module’s output terminal. An 8 Ω speaker is recommended for maximum reliability, or 4 Ω if higher power is desired, provided that an adequate heatsink is used.
Connect the audio source (phone, computer, Bluetooth module, audio player) to the module’s line-level input.
Before first power-up, make sure the TDA7294 IC is properly mounted on a heatsink, using the thermally conductive strip and fixing screw included (if present in the package).
Turn on the power and check that the amplifier operates correctly at low volume before increasing the signal level.
For stereo applications, use two identical modules, one for each channel, powered from the same transformer or from separate transformers.
A high-quality toroidal transformer is recommended for optimal audio performance and minimal noise.
