WARRANTY TERMS
The products sold on the site benefit from the legal warranty of conformity, meaning they comply with the specifications presented on the site.
Product images are for informational purposes and do not constitute a contractual obligation. Products may have slight differences in appearance or components depending on the batch, without affecting functionality.
Products are warranted in accordance with the current legislation in Romania (Law 449/2003 and applicable normative acts).
Warranty Claim Procedure
To grant the warranty, prior notification in writing or by email is required. In the request, the customer will provide details regarding the product's usage, operating conditions, and a description of the defect.
For a preliminary evaluation, it is recommended to send us relevant images or video materials of the product (sent by email or WhatsApp), as well as additional information related to installation and use.
After analyzing the provided information and our confirmation, the product may be sent for verification.
The product must be returned, if possible, in the original packaging and accompanied by all received accessories.
Product Purpose
The products sold are electronic components intended for integration in projects, prototypes, or use by people with technical knowledge. These are not finished products meant for direct use by consumers without training in the field.
Product Inspection
The inspection of products returned under warranty is carried out by visual and functional evaluation.
Products showing signs of improper use, interventions, modifications, or physical, electrical, or mechanical damage are not considered manufacturing defects and are not covered by the warranty.
It is not necessary to identify the exact cause of the defect; it is sufficient to establish that the product no longer corresponds to its initial condition.
What the Warranty Covers
The warranty exclusively covers manufacturing defects.
The warranty does not apply in the following cases:

use outside technical specifications
-
improper power supply (overvoltage, polarity reversal)
-
faulty assembly or handling
-
modifications or interventions on the product
-
damage caused by external factors
Product replacement is made only when a manufacturing defect is confirmed. We reserve the right to refuse repeated requests for products damaged in a similar manner or showing signs of improper use.
For products requiring use under special conditions, we recommend consulting qualified personnel. Defects caused by improper use or installation are not covered by the warranty.
The warranty resolution period complies with the legal provisions in force.
Special Products
Kits and products requiring assembly are warranted only for components, up to the point of assembly. Since assembly is performed by the user, we have no control over the process. It is recommended to check components before assembly.
Consumable products and those subject to normal wear are excluded from the warranty.
In the case of defective components, they will be replaced or the product’s value will be refunded within a maximum of 15 days from written notification.
Usage Instructions
Products may not be accompanied by instructions in Romanian, as they are intended for users with technical knowledge in electronics, IT, or robotics.
Limitation of Liability
Sigmanortec SRL does not assume responsibility for any damages resulting from the use of the products, beyond the obligation to replace or refund their value during the warranty period.
The use of products in applications with risk to human safety (e.g., medical systems, life support systems, military applications, etc.) is prohibited. The user assumes full responsibility for product use.
Products must be used exclusively in accordance with applicable legislation.
The end user is responsible for product selection, integration, and verifying compatibility with other components.
Warranty Voidance
The warranty is void in the following situations:

physical defects (impacts, cracks, burnt components, etc.)

use under unsuitable conditions (incorrect voltages, mechanical shocks, water, dust, chemicals)
-
incorrect installation or interventions on the product
-
connecting/disconnecting while the product is operating
-
improper use of firmware/BIOS
Installation or use by unqualified persons can lead to warranty voidance.
If the product has been replaced and subsequently exhibits similar defects caused by improper use, it is no longer covered by the warranty. We reserve the right to refuse repeated requests for products damaged in a similar manner or showing signs of improper use.
Costs
In the case of an unjustified warranty claim, the customer will bear the round-trip shipping costs.
Required Documents
The warranty claim is made based on the invoice or fiscal receipt. No other documents are required. The warranty certificate can be downloaded from the customer account.
LIABILITY
The seller does not assume responsibility for the use or performance of the products, which are intended for research, development, and technical use by competent individuals.
The information presented on the site is indicative. The customer is responsible for choosing products, verifying compatibility, and their use.
The seller does not provide guarantees regarding the suitability of products for a specific purpose.
The seller cannot be held responsible for delivery delays; delivery times are estimated and do not constitute firm contractual obligations.
