WARRANTY CONDITIONS
The products sold on the site benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity, meaning that the products sold comply with the specifications found on the site.
The pictures do not constitute a contractual obligation, as the products may have slight differences in appearance or components depending on the batch, without affecting the functionality of the product.
The products benefit from a warranty in accordance with the legal provisions in force (Law 449/2003). When requesting the warranty, written or electronic notification (email) and our consent are required that the product is subject to the warranty and can be sent. The product will be shipped in the original packaging together with the accessories received and, in the case of products whose installation, assembly or commissioning cannot be carried out by unqualified persons and requires authorized personnel, an assembly sheet completed by an authorized company/individual.
Kits and products that require assembly are covered by a component warranty until assembly is complete because assembly is done by unauthorized personnel, where we have no control over the assembly process. Carefully inspect the components before assembly.
Consumable products and those that, by their nature, are subject to wear and tear during operation are excluded from the warranty.
In the event of defective components, we undertake to replace or refund the value of the product within 15 days from the date of written notification (email or other means of written communication).
Products rarely come with instructions for use in Romanian because they are intended for people specialized in electronics, IT and robotics.
Sigmanortec srl does not assume any extended responsibility regarding damages that may result from the use of the products sold other than the exchange or return of the product value during the warranty period.
It is prohibited to use the products sold by Sigmanortec srl in areas with a risk to human safety, for example life support systems, medical systems, military systems, etc. The customer understands and agrees that the responsibility for the use of the respective products is exclusively his responsibility and assumes any damage or risk derived from the use of the products. The products will be used exclusively within the limits of the law.
The end user bears full responsibility for the choice of the product, its integration into circuits or applications, and for verifying compatibility with other components.
The warranty is lost in the following cases:
- Products that have physical defects such as bumps, cracks, burnt or burst components, etc.; products used in inappropriate conditions (improper power supply voltages, mechanical shocks, water, dust or chemical substances, incorrect installation, interventions on the product, connecting or disconnecting electronic products while they are operating, incorrect BIOS rewrites).
- Installation or commissioning of products by unauthorized persons will void the warranty.
If the warranty claim is unjustified, the buyer will pay the return shipping fees for the respective product.
The claim for the conformity guarantee is made based on the invoice or tax receipt, no other documents are required. The guarantee certificate can be downloaded from the customer account page.
