Set containing two 18650 type Li-Ion batteries, each with a nominal voltage of 3.7V and an individual capacity of 2500mAh. With a discharge rating of 8C, these batteries are suitable for equipment that requires a high discharge current of up to 20A.
The discharge rate in "C" is a standardized way of indicating the speed at which a battery can be safely discharged without affecting its performance or lifespan. The "C" value is related to the nominal capacity of the battery. The discharge rate is 8C (8 x 2500mAh capacity = 20A maximum discharge current). The indicated charge rate, also expressed in "C", is 0.5C (0.5 x 2500mAh = 1.25A).
The maximum recommended discharge current for the longest possible battery life is 6C, i.e. 15A per cell.
The battery has a flat head, suitable for making battery packs by spot welding and weighs 46.25 grams.
The set is delivered with a plastic storage box, designed to protect the batteries against mechanical shock and short circuits during transport or storage.
