Mechanical chassis kit for a 4-wheeled robot car with gearbox. The set consists strictly of the parts necessary for its mechanical assembly and does not include any electronics. It uses geared motors that can be operated between 3 and 6VDC. It also includes a 4x AA battery holder that will supply the motors with the required operating voltage. The chosen microcontroller should be powered from a separate source to avoid interference caused by the motors' operation on the circuit.

It comes bundled with rotary encoders which, together with a proximity sensor, can detect the rotational speed of each wheel individually, thus allowing the car to be programmed to perform precise and autonomous actions.
