The GPS module, NEO-8M, with included ceramic antenna, compatible with Arduino and other development boards, allows the identification of the exact global position with the help of GPS satellites.
The module works at a supply voltage between 3 and 5VDC, includes a backup battery mounted on the PCB to save the parameters in the event of a power failure and store them in the EEPROM. It has an integrated LED that signals the state of the GPS signal.

Instructions:
To work, the module needs to be taken out into the open field. You will not be able to receive GPS signal inside the buildings. There are 2 LEDs on the board, a Red one that indicates the power supply, and a Green one that indicates the reception of the GPS signal. When connecting with the satellites, the Green LED will start flashing and the information related to the latitude and longitude will be transmitted on the serial port. The cold connection time can be several minutes.
In the Download section you will find the library necessary for operation as well as the test code. We recommend uninstalling the other TinyGPS libraries before installation.
PS: The RX and TX pins are rerouted via software serial on 3 and 4 in the example code. In some examples available online these pins are connected incorrectly.
