The M1C1 Mini 360° Laser Scanning LiDAR sensor uses an advanced 2D laser scanning system based on the triangulation principle, ideal for autonomous navigation and mapping. It provides a 360° scan, generating a detailed point cloud of the environment, ideal for obstacle avoidance, autonomous positioning and map construction and virtual map creation.
The base of the module is fixed, the upper element rotating constantly, through a brush mechanism.
It is capable of detection up to a distance of 8 meters, being optimized between 0.1 and 6 meters.
It has an angular resolution of 0.9° and a scanning frequency of 10Hz, with strong resistance to ambient light interference and low power consumption for long-term use.
It uses a Class I laser, safe for humans and animals.

Use:
The module board comes with a 4-pin, PH1.25 connector, which provides access to the VCC (5VDC), TX , GND and RX pins.

Connect the microcontroller to the Lidar module correctly using the above diagram for power and communication. After supplying 5V, the laser will start rotating. Provide the necessary current for operation (minimum 1W).
Mount the sensor on the robot or smart equipment, ensuring it has a clear view of the scanning area.
Initialize the system and check the motor speed, ensuring that the scan is performed consistently at 10Hz.
Clean the sensor lens periodically to avoid interference caused by dust and dirt.
