XH-M609 module, low voltage disconnect, 7-50V
The XH-M609 module ensures automatic disconnection of the consumer at low voltage, protecting the battery against excessive discharge, operates between 7 and 50VDC, the disconnection and reconnection thresholds are easily programmable in 0.1V steps, the display indicates the voltage in real time, the 20A relay switches the load and the LED confirms the operating status.

Low voltage consumer disconnection module, XH-M609, which can operate at voltages between 7 and 50VDC.
This module is used to protect the battery from discharge when the supply voltage drops below the set level. The circuit restarts when the input voltage reaches the set threshold.
The display shows the input voltage in real time and the integrated LED lights up and remains lit as long as the relay is activated and the consumer is switched on. The LED goes out to signal the relay is off and the circuit is broken.
Important: The module does not stop when the circuit is broken. It still displays the input voltage, which means that there is a constant consumption between 0.2W and 0.5W, depending on the supply voltage. In the long term, depending on the capacity of the battery, it will discharge continuously (for a 12V battery the consumption is about 0.03A).
Use:
- Connect the battery to VIN+ and VIN-, the module displays the battery voltage.
- Double-press the Left button quickly to change the relay cut-off voltage. Use the two buttons to change the value. Short press for changes in 0.1V steps, long press for changes in 1.0V steps.
- Long press the Right button to change the reconnection voltage. This value is expressed in the set value for the fuse plus the set value. Use the two buttons to change the value. Short press for changes in 0.1V steps, long press for changes in 1.0V steps.
Example: You want to disconnect the consumer at 11V in the battery and reconnect it at a voltage of 13V in the battery. Press the Left button briefly twice and set the value 11.0. Wait for the real voltage to return to the display. Press and hold the Right button and set the value 2.0. When the battery voltage drops to 11V, the relay is turned off. When the voltage rises to 13V (11+2) the relay is activated. This cycle is repeated continuously.
