3D facial recognition module, with binocular cameras, Hi-Link HLK-TX510 model, developed based on the TX510 chip, with an AI computing power of 1.2T@8bit / 9.6T@binary and support for mixed precision.
The module comes with cameras (2 binocular cameras, one with IR, infrared, and the second RGB type), a 2.8-inch color LCD display connected in parallel and the TX510 module, integrated on the same board.
This compact module is capable of fast and accurate facial recognition, with 3D detection of people and identification in visible or infrared light conditions, offering protection against 2D and 3D attacks (such as photos, videos or masks). With a high identification success rate, this module is suitable for a variety of industrial applications, such as smart locks, access control and generally any security system development.
It uses a RISC32 processor with CK804 as main processor and CK805 as auxiliary processor, for improved speed and stability, with a frequency of up to 400 MHz.
It supports up to 1000 profiles, with a comparison time of less than one second.
Thanks to the infrared light and the infrared sensor, it allows identification even in the dark, effectively detecting in poorly lit environments.
It detects and prevents 2D and 3D attacks, being safe against access attempts with photos, videos or masks.

Use:
1. Connecting the module to the power source
Connect the module to a 5V/1A source through the USB-C port located at its base. It will power both the camera and the display.
The USB-C port can also be used to transmit serial commands from a microcontroller (ESP, Arduino , etc.).
2. Girl Registration (Setting a Profile)
Press the S1 button on the back of the module. Keep your face facing the camera.
The module will save the image and assign it a unique ID. Then, it displays the ID on the screen.
If you want to delete all saved faces, press and hold S1 for 6 seconds.
3. Recognition of the girl
Press the S2 button to initiate the facial recognition process.
If the face is recognized successfully, the display will show the corresponding ID. If the recognition fails, you will see an error message.
Also, the display will signal errors such as "2D biopsy failed" if the face is at an unfavorable angle.
4. Other control functions
S3: Restarts the board when pressed.
For advanced interactions, you can use serial commands via UART (example: controlling the background light, erasing specific IDs or initiating recognition).

Connection to Tasmota
Currently, Tasmota does not provide full support for TX510, but you can use the Serial Bridge function with rules for basic operations.
Observations and frequent errors
The module works optimally when the face is centered in the frame, at a distance of up to 1 meter.
Errors of the "2D biopsy failed" type appear if the face is not positioned directly or if it is partially hidden.
The recognition is sensitive to accessories (eg: hood) and very intense lighting.
