1.3 inch IPS color display module, compatible with Arduino and other development boards. Attention! Supports 3.3V voltage, both logic and power. Use a logic level converter if necessary to use with 5V boards.

This display communicates via SPI and the pixels are individually controllable, with a resolution of 240x240 RGB pixels. The LCD screen is a TFT with realistic colors and IPS, which allows it to be viewed correctly from all angles.

It has backlighting controllable via the dedicated BLK pin (Low Level is OFF).

Use:

The usage example is given with an ESP32 board (does not require a logic level converter, operating at 3.3V) connected to the display, using the Arduino IDE environment.

Install the TFT_eSPI_ES32Lab by Bodmer library.

Connect the ESP32 board to the Display as follows:

VCC 3.3V (or 5V if the module has a regulator) Logic and backlight power supply If the module has a regulator on the board, you can use 5V. Otherwise, only 3.3V.
GND GND Common table Must be connected to the ESP32 GND
SCL / SCK / CLK GPIO 18 SPI clock signal It can also be 14 or 5, but 18 is the standard SCK line on the ESP32
SDA / MOSI / DIN GPIO 23 SPI data line (Master Out Slave In) It could be 13, but 23 is the MOSI standard.
RES / RST / RESET GPIO 16 Screen hardware reset Can be changed to another free pin if needed
DC / D/C / A0 GPIO 17 Data/Command select Used to switch between commands and data to the display
