HLK-LD2410 is a high sensitivity 24GHz human presence status detection module developed by Hilink Electronics.

Its working principle is to use FMCW frequency modulated continuous wave to detect human targets in the set space, combined with radar signal processing and a precise human body induction algorithm, to achieve a sensitive human presence state detection high, which can identify the human body in motion and stationary state and can calculate auxiliary information, such as the distance to the target.

This product is mainly used indoors to detect whether there is a human body in motion or micro-motion in the area and to provide real-time detection results. The maximum detection distance is up to 6 meters, with a resolution of 0.75m. It provides a visual configuration tool, which can easily configure the detection distance range and sensitivity to different ranges to adapt to different needs application specifics.

It supports GPIO and UART output and can be flexibly applied to various intelligent scenarios and terminal products.

The module allows the detection of human movement within a radius of up to 5 meters, offering a wide coverage and protection against interference. It is effective in different scenarios, due to its ability to adjust parameters. In addition, it stands out for its compact dimensions and compatibility with various installation methods, being a cost-effective solution for integration into intelligent systems.

It offers intelligent multi-level parameter adjustment to meet the needs of scene changes. It works in the 24 GHz ISM band, compliant with FCC and CE regulations regarding the wide voltage supply spectrum of 5~12V.

The human body detection module LD2410 can detect and identify the human body in motion, agitation, standing, sitting and lying down. It supports multi-level parameter adjustment and can be widely used in various IoT scenarios.

It can be used in various Smart Home applications such as automatic control of lights when a person is detected in the room, it can be used for heating projects that require the notification of a person in the room, or it can be used together with personalized advertising panels that are activated upon detection people.

1. Connect the serial port of the module correctly with the USB tool to the serial port
