The round white plastic cap is intended for 12x12x7.3 mm tactile switches and replaces the plain button cap with a larger, more comfortable pressing surface. It is suitable for control panels, laboratory equipment, projects with Arduino, ESP32 or Raspberry Pi, and for replacing lost or damaged caps.
The cap is mounted on the square stem of the tactile switch, which is usually 3.4 x 3.8 mm in size and has a retaining notch. The inside of the cap is fitted with guiding ribs that grip the stem and keep it in place during repeated presses. The cap is a passive mechanical part, with no electrical contacts, and does not change the switch's electrical parameters.
Among the main features are the round shape with a support collar, the white color, easy to match with other caps in different colors to mark button functions, and simple push-on installation, without tools and without glue. The product does not require power.
The cap is compatible with 12x12x7.3 mm tactile buttons with a square stem, regardless of the electronic platform on which they are used, and for other types of switches the stem size must be checked.

Use:
Before installation, check that the tactile button has dimensions of 12x12x7.3 mm and a square stem of approximately 3.4 x 3.8 mm.
Orient the cap so that the ribs inside match the shape of the switch stem.
Press the cap onto the stem until it sits fully on the switch body, applying even force along the button axis.
Do not force the cap if the orientation is incorrect, to avoid damaging the internal ribs or the switch stem.
After installation, check that the button presses freely and returns fully, and that the cap does not touch the panel or surrounding housing.
To remove the cap, pull it straight up without twisting, while keeping the switch body fixed.
Use caps in different colors to visually mark the functions of buttons on a control panel.
