The VS1053B module, compatible with Arduino and other development boards, is based on an audio chip with a versatile codec processor capable of decoding a wide range of audio formats, such as MP3, OGG Vorbis, AAC, WMA, MIDI, and others.
In addition to the playback function, the module also supports audio recording in OGG format directly via the integrated microphone or line-in input. Thanks to the SD card slot, the module allows playing files directly from external memory, which makes it ideal for DIY projects, portable audio players or embedded systems Arduino and other microcontrollers.

Example usage:
Connect the module to the Arduino via the SPI interface.
Insert a card containing mp3 files named in the format: track001.mp3 - track002.mp3 - track003.mp3 into the SD slot.
Download the MP3Shield_Library_Demo library and copy it to the folder: /Arduino/libraries/
Open the Arduino IDE and load the MP3Shield-Library-Demo example.
Open Serial Monitor at 115200 baud and type the track number, for example 1, to play track001.mp3.
The module is plug & play after loading the correct library.
