This 3.5-inch touchscreen is specially designed for Raspberry Pi and is ideal for embedded projects, compact graphical interfaces, control panels, and monitoring applications. The display uses a TFT panel with an SPI interface, offers a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels, 65536 color display, and resistive touch control, making it a practical solution for projects requiring direct user interaction.
The module integrates the ILI9486 graphics driver for display control and the XPT2046 touch controller for touch functionality. Additionally, it includes 4 x 74HC4094D circuits, used for managing the digital signals of the display interface, contributing to efficient control of the lines necessary for the module's operation. These circuits are not dedicated to the touch function but are part of the display's control electronics.
Assembly is done directly on the Raspberry Pi board via the GPIO connectors, without using the HDMI interface. The size is adapted to the board format, and direct connection through GPIO allows for a compact and easy-to-install assembly.
The package also includes an ABS protective case, specially designed for use with this 3.5-inch screen. In the configuration with the display mounted, the case cover must be removed. The case can also be used as a general enclosure for the Raspberry Pi, with a fan mounted on the cover, but the screen and fan cannot be used simultaneously in the standard configuration. The case provides access to the board's important ports, including the SD card slot, HDMI, AV, Ethernet, USB, PoE, camera, and MIPI DSI ports. The bottom features holes for easy mounting on various surfaces.

Usage:
The screen connects directly to the Raspberry Pi board's GPIO pins and the HDMI interface should not be used when the display is in use. It is very important that the GPIO assembly is done correctly, with precise pin alignment, before powering on. Incorrect connection can permanently damage the touch function.
For assembly, the Raspberry Pi is first fixed into the case base, then the screen is correctly inserted onto the GPIO connector. In this configuration, the case cover must be removed. If the screen is not used, the case can function as a standard Raspberry Pi case, and a 5V fan with dimensions 30x30mm (3030) not included can be mounted on the cover for cooling. In the standard configuration, the screen and fan cannot be used simultaneously.
The resistive touch allows direct interaction with the displayed interface and can also be used with the stylus included in the package. The screen is suitable for local control panels, compact HMI interfaces, smart home systems, parameter displays, educational projects, and other applications where a display mounted directly on the board is required.
It is recommended to use compatible systems such as Raspbian, Ubuntu, or Kali Linux and to install the appropriate drivers. For proper operation, the screen must be connected only via GPIO, and the operating system must be configured according to the usage guide provided by the manufacturer.
The case can be used with or without the screen. Without the screen, an additional cover is included.
