The XH-W1411 thermostat module with LED display and temperature control is an efficient solution to control and monitor the temperature in various applications. This module offers a simple and precise way to maintain the temperature at the desired level in a certain environment. With its help, you can automatically control heating devices, cooling systems or other temperature-sensitive equipment.
Equipped with a bright LED display, this thermostat module allows a clear and easy visualization of the set values and the current temperature. With the help of the control buttons, you can adjust the desired temperature precisely. the minimum start-up temperature is displayed on the left, the current temperature in the middle and the maximum stop temperature on the left. Below these displays are the temperature setting buttons.
The memory function keeps the temperature settings in case of power failure.
It has several functions. It can be used in both heating and cooling mode, depending on how it is set. It can also be used as a timer .
Important: The output acts as a closed/open contact.
Functions: Settable by the SET key. The screen in the middle indicates how the module works. Functions do not work together. If it is an F-1, it no longer works as a thermostat or vice versa.
Normal: Normal working mode, like a thermostat
When the current temperature is shown in the middle display, the thermostat works in thermostat mode.

F-1: Intermittent working mode
This mode allows intermittent temperature control, turning on and off the heating or cooling devices at regular time intervals. The settings for this mode include a time interval to start and a time interval to stop. For example, you can set the thermostat to start heating for one minute and turn it off for three minutes in an intermittent cycle. It works in minutes, from 1 to 99 minutes. The ON time is displayed on the left of the thermostat, the OFF time on the right.
F-2: Regular shutdown mode
In this mode, you can set the thermostat to turn off the heating or cooling devices regularly at preset time intervals. This can be useful to maintain the temperature in a specific range, interrupting the operation of the heating or cooling system at certain intervals. The hours are displayed on the left and the minutes on the right, up to 99 hours and 99 minutes.
F-3: Scheduled start mode
The F-3 mode allows you to program the thermostat to automatically start heating or cooling at certain time intervals. This can be useful to ensure that the temperature is adjusted in the desired way at certain times of the day. Press and hold the SET button for a few seconds to turn off the thermostat. A short press on any button will start the module.
Calibration:
With the Thermostat not powered, hold down the SET button and power up while holding down the SET button. 0.0 is displayed in the middle of the screen. Immediately, using the buttons on the left, compensate with plus or minus the temperature difference between the displayed and the real one. After a few seconds of inactivity, the thermostat will exit the calibration mode.
Self-diagnosis:
With the thermostat not powered, hold down the UP and DOWN arrows on the left of the thermostat at the same time and power up with the buttons pressed. Keep pressed until the beep is complete.
Reset:
With the thermostat not powered, hold down the UP and DOWN arrows on the right of the thermostat at the same time and power up with the buttons pressed. 88-888-88 will be displayed in the middle. Keep pressed until the beep is complete.

I used it to monitor the temperature of a domestic hot water tank (water heater (RO: boiler)). This thermostat controls a solid fuel (pellet) boiler (RO: centrala pe peleti) that can be turned on or off using a dry contact switch. I didn?t fully understand the instructions, unfortunately, the manual is only available in Chinese. If I search for the instruction manual on the Internet, I find this page (thanks to the authors). In the end, after several attempts and with the instructions from this page, I managed to understand and correctly configure the thermostat so that I can control the boiler based on the water temperature in the tank. For example, if I want the water temperature in the boiler to be around 42 degrees, I set the minimum value to 40 and the maximum value to 44. This way, if the water temperature in the boiler drops below 40 degrees, the thermostat commands the boiler to start heating, and when the water temperature reaches 44 degrees, the boiler stops. Due to thermal inertia, the system continues to cool the boiler, causing the water temperature in the tank to rise by a few more degrees.
