Voltage step-down module with current and constant voltage (CV and DC), DC-DC, which reduces the input voltage from 7-35VDC to an adjustable range between 1.25 and 30VDC.

The maximum current supports a peak of 3A.

This module presents a potentiometer in addition to the standard models, the one in the middle, which is used to detect the completed charging of the batteries, which is achieved by detecting the decrease of the charging current below a certain level set in the potentiometer, with a factor of 0.1 set in the factory and adjustable through this potentiometer, and is connected to the OK LED on the board.

The module can be used for powering LEDs (LED driver), charging lithium, nickel batteries, etc..., with voltages between 1.25 and 30V.

Use for charging batteries:

1. Make sure of the voltage and current at which the battery must be charged.

2. Adjust the output voltage through the CV potentiometer to the charging voltage of the battery (4.2VDC in the case of lithium-ion cells)

3. With a multimeter, set to 10A current measurement, short-circuit the output of the module to measure the short-circuit current. Turn the CC potentiometer to the desired value of the charging current (for lithium-ion, a current of 0.5C is usually recommended, half of the battery capacity).

4. Connect the battery to the output of the mod.

Note: The potentiometer in the middle has unclear specifications at the supplier, which is why its function is still not very clear to us.
