The module for discharging the Lithium battery (LiPo, LiIon, LiHV, etc...) to a total voltage of 3.8V per cell or, by inserting a jumper, not included, discharging the battery to 0V when it is desired to remove it safely.
Bringing the cells to a voltage of 3.8V is mandatory when you want to keep the accumulators for the long term (storage mode).
The module supports 2S, 3S, 4S, 5S and 6S configurations.
It has XT60 and XT30 connectors (DO NOT connect 2 batteries at the same time! The presence of the two connectors makes it possible to discharge batteries with XT30 or XT60 plugs) .
The display indicates the total battery voltage and the integrated LED signals the discharge.
Use:
Connect the battery to the XT30 or XT60 plug (NEVER BOTH PLUGS). Press the button to determine the number of battery cells. The wrong selection of the number of cells WILL DISCHARGE THE BATTERY EXCESSIVELY! Make sure you have selected the correct battery model (2S, 3S, 4S, 5S or 6S).
The module will release heat when discharging the battery in storage mode. Keep the module in a ventilated place. Upon completion, the module will close. To discharge another battery, it takes about 10 seconds between batteries to restart the module.
To fully discharge the battery (0V), insert a jumper in the location designated with 0V . The battery will be completely discharged in the present case.
