The plastic rotary cap (knob) is intended for potentiometers with a 6 mm shaft and is used to turn a bare shaft into an easy-to-grip, easy-to-rotate adjustment element. The orange version is suitable for visual marking of functions on control panels, audio amplifiers, laboratory power supplies, signal generators, regulators, and homemade electronic projects.
The cap has a ribbed black body that provides a secure grip when turning, and an orange top section with an indicator that clearly shows the adjustment position. The dimensions are 15 x 17 mm, and the mounting hole matches shafts with a 6 mm diameter.

Use:
Check that the potentiometer shaft has a diameter of 6 mm and that it has the same shape (ribbed or slotted) as the cap opening.
Turn the potentiometer shaft to the minimum position before mounting, so that the cap indicator matches the scale correctly.
Place the cap on the shaft, with the indicator oriented toward the minimum position, and push it on evenly until it rests on the panel or potentiometer body.
Do not strike the cap or apply sideways force during installation, to avoid damaging the shaft or the plastic.
Leave a small gap between the base of the cap and the panel, so that the cap can rotate freely without friction.
Rotate the cap without forcing the potentiometer end stops.
