BLDC controller with integrated potentiometer speed control, compact, designed for brushless motors and Hall sensors. The integration of the potentiometer allows speed adjustment by a simple rotation: clockwise increases the speed, counterclockwise decreases it. It also supports external control via PLC 0-5V analog signal, providing maximum flexibility in use, by eliminating the potentiometer from the circuit.
It has the advantage of speed memory when the power is cut off, which preserves the previous settings, ensuring easier control of the motor. Also, the overheating protection system automatically reduces the power when the temperature exceeds 100°C, preventing damage to components. There is also protection against engine blocking during operation.
The ESC can provide a maximum power of 300W and allows the use of a voltage range between 7 and 24VDC.
Specifications:
Supply voltage: 7-24V DC
Working current: 15A nominal, 20A with active cooling
Speed adjustment: Potentiometer or signal
Signal: PLC 0-5V
Compatible motor: Brushless (BLDC), brushless
Dimensions: 45 x 26 x 12mm
Maximum speed:
224,000 RPM (2-pole motor)
74,000 RPM (6-pole motor)
40,000 RPM (12-pole motor)
35,000 RPM (14-pole motor)
Use:
Connect the motor phases to the ESC, followed by powering the ESC with a voltage between 7 and 24VDC. If the motor rotates in the opposite direction, reverse two phases between them.
Use the potentiometer to control the speed:
Clockwise → increase speed
Counter-clockwise direction → reduce speed
External control (PLC 0-5V) without a potentiometer is done by disconnecting the potentiometer, connecting the analog signal (0-5V) and ground to the input terminals of the control board.
Important precautions:
No reverse polarity protection! Wrong connection of ESC power supply may cause permanent damage!
Use a compatible power supply. The motor must match the voltage, current and power of the controller.
