The XY-MB02YF module is an intelligent proximity switch that automatically detects the user’s presence via a Bluetooth connection and operates a bistable (latching) relay to control a load circuit. Unlike classic relays, the bistable type consumes current only during switching, not while idle, which ensures lower power consumption and a longer lifespan for the internal components.
Compatible with any iOS or Android phone with Bluetooth 4.2 BLE enabled, the module does not require a dedicated app, and the connection to the device is made directly from the phone’s Bluetooth settings.
Operation is simple and fully automatic: when the phone connects to the module (device with prefix "NBH"), the relay activates and controls the connected load. When Bluetooth is turned off or the phone leaves the detection range (3–5 m), the relay returns to the disconnected state after the configured delay interval expires.
The module is ideal for smart lighting systems, access door control, home automation, or any application that requires activating a circuit based on the user’s physical presence.
Advanced configuration is performed through AT commands sent via the serial port at 9600 baud, allowing customization of the BLE device name, pairing password, signal threshold, switching mode, and delay duration. The module is powered at 5 VDC, and the relay terminals support loads of up to 10A at 250 VAC or 30 VDC.

Usage:
Power the module with 5 VDC through the corresponding pins.
Connect the relay terminals in series with the electrical load (up to 10A / 250 VAC or 10A / 30 VDC). If the load is 220 VAC, make the connections with the module disconnected from power.
Enable Bluetooth on your phone and open the list of available devices.
Connect to the device whose name starts with "NBH". The initial pairing password is 123456.
After connection, the relay activates and the load is powered. The serial port sends a connection confirmation.
Keep the phone within 3–5 m with Bluetooth enabled to keep the relay activated.
When Bluetooth is turned off or the phone leaves the range, the relay deactivates after the configured delay interval.
For advanced configuration, connect a USB-UART adapter to the module’s TX/RX pins and send AT commands at 9600 baud through a serial terminal (e.g., PuTTY, Arduino Serial Monitor).
