The NRF51822 module is a highly energy-efficient wireless Bluetooth 4.0 Beacon device ideal for a wide variety of applications, including iBeacon systems, wearables, electronic games, and smart home control.
Thanks to the BEacon technology used, it can be used for localization within the range of the signal.
Its firmware also meets Apple's iBeacon technical standards. Due to the low supply voltage, from 2.0 to 3.3V, and the low current consumption in sleep mode (only 3.1uA), the module is an optimal solution for devices that require a long battery life.
This module requires a CR2032 coin cell battery to operate.
