The 3.5-inch TFT LCD display module is a compact and versatile solution for projects based on the Arduino Mega 2560 board, offering a clear and colorful image thanks to the 480x320 pixel resolution and the 65K color RGB panel.
The ILI9486 controller ensures faithful rendering of graphics and text, and the 16-bit parallel interface guarantees fast data transfer to the screen.
The module features an integrated 5V/3.3V logic level conversion circuit, making it compatible with both 5V and 3.3V platforms without the need for additional components.
It connects directly to the pins of the Arduino 2560 board, plug-and-play, without cables or adapters. On the back of the module, there is an SD card slot accessible via SPI interface, useful for storing images or display data.
It is important to note that this module does not include a touch function and is intended exclusively for content display.

Usage:
Before assembling, check that the board used is an Arduino Mega 2560, as the module is not directly compatible with Uno or Nano type boards.
Align the module's 36-pin connector with the corresponding header on the 2560 board and press firmly until fully seated.
Power the board via USB or external source; the module receives voltage directly through the connector.
Download the Arduino-compatible library for the ILI9486 (for example MCUFRIEND_kbv or Adafruit_TFTLCD) and install it in the Arduino IDE via Sketch > Include Library > Add .ZIP Library.
Open an example from the installed library and verify that the driver ID is set to 0x9486.
Upload the sketch to the board and check for correct display of the test image.
For SD card usage, use the SD.h library included in the Arduino IDE and set the SD_CS pin according to the pinout above.
Ensure that the files on the SD card are formatted as FAT32 for maximum compatibility.
