The CAN BUS shield module, directly compatible with the Arduino UNO R3, is a powerful and versatile module designed to allow high-speed CAN (Controller Area Network) communication for Arduino and Freaduino boards. This module expands the capabilities of Arduino and Freaduino boards, allowing users to transmit and receive data quickly and efficiently on CAN networks, which is ideal for industrial applications, automation, automotive and other complex projects. With the help of this module, users can create projects that interact with different devices and systems on CAN networks, opening up unlimited opportunities for innovation and creativity.

It uses the MCP2515 CAN controller and as a transceiver uses the TJA1050 IC (similar to the MAX485).

It fully supports the CAN2.0 protocol with a maximum transfer speed of 1Mb/s.

It features LED indicators for power, RX, TX and INT, as well as an ON/OFF switch.

The module can be connected to the Arduino/Freaduino board via the pins and the SPI interface, and once connected, it is ready to be programmed and used in your project.

To make the module easier to use, there are libraries available for Arduino and Freaduino, along with code examples that demonstrate how to send and receive data over the CAN network.

The module allows you to interact with various CAN compatible devices and systems, such as sensors, control modules, instrument panels and many others.
