The CH9329 programmer module transforms UART (TTL) serial communication into a fully functional USB HID device, recognized by any computer as a keyboard, mouse or custom HID device. It is ideal for embedded projects, automation applications, IoT devices or custom control interfaces, and provides a simple and efficient solution for transmitting commands to a computer via USB.
It is designed to work together with a USB-TTL module or any microcontroller or development board capable of serial communication, the CH9329 taking serial data and converting it according to the HID standard, with full support for ASCII characters, multimedia keys, absolute or relative mouse and custom data transmission.
ATTENTION! If the module is already powered via USB (from the PC) the +5V pin DO NOT CONNECT! The module is already powered from the computer! In most cases, connecting the GND and RX pins of the module to the microcontroller is sufficient.
The module allows configuration through the dedicated application (we provide a translated version of this application in the Download section). Attention, the firmware is in Chinese, which is why, even if the application is translated, once the IC is read, its information will appear in Chinese characters.
The converter can be used as a complete UART → USB HID converter (keyboard, mouse, custom device) and is automatically recognized by the PC without additional drivers.
Working mode, baud rate, VID, PID, timeouts, character filters, etc. can be configured through the software.
Supports advanced features such as multimedia keyboard, absolute/relative mouse.
It can be used as a Wake-on-USB device, providing the function of remotely waking up the computer.
On the module there is a series of 4 jumpers that can connect MODE0, MODE1, CFG0 and CFG1 to GND, for a hardware selection of the operating mode. Attention! The jumpers are NOT included in the package!

For testing, an UNO R3 board can be used to send characters in keyboard mode directly to the PC.
