This TDS module is designed to measure water conductivity and estimate the total dissolved solids concentration, offering a practical solution for water quality monitoring in projects with Arduino UNO and other compatible development boards.

It works by measuring electrical conductivity, where a higher amount of salts, minerals, or other dissolved substances causes an increase in conductivity.

The module provides an analog output proportional to this value, allowing the microcontroller to calculate the TDS level in ppm or electrical conductivity in µS/cm.

It can be powered between 3.3 and 5.5 VDC, has a low current consumption of 3 - 6 mA, and an analog interface of 0 - 2.3V, making it easy to integrate into water testing applications, hydroponics, aquaristics, filtration systems, or educational projects.

The stainless steel probe is resistant to repeated use, and the compact dimensions of the module allow easy mounting in various electronic assemblies.

Usage:

After powering, the module provides at the output an analog voltage proportional to the water conductivity. This value can be read by a microcontroller and converted into TDS ppm using the corresponding formula in software.

For the most accurate results, the probe must be kept fully immersed in water, without air bubbles on the electrode surfaces. Periodic cleaning of the probe is recommended to prevent deposits that can affect measurement accuracy.

The module is suitable for water monitoring in aquariums, hydroponic systems, educational experiments, and general water quality checking applications.
