It offers serial communication at 9600 bps, ceramic antenna for stable reception, EEPROM with backup battery for data retention during power outages, and an integrated 3.3V regulator for direct operation at 3-5V.

GPS module compatible with Arduino and other development boards, GY-NEO6MV2.

The module is perfect for projects where implementing a GPS-based location system is desired. It features a rechargeable battery attached to the board for EEPROM memory.

Since it requires signals from satellites, using it indoors is not possible. To function, it must be outdoors.

The LED on the board will light up only when there is a GPS signal (which is possible only outdoors). When GPS satellites are found, the LED will blink at regular intervals.

The module has an integrated 3.3V voltage regulator, which makes it directly compatible with development boards operating at both 3.3V and 5V logic levels.
