Solar charging module, 5A, constant current and voltage, MPPT type. It is used together with solar panels and batteries for their correct charging. This module is set by adjustment to the voltage required by the batteries for charging and has an efficiency of 95%.
This module is a DC-DC step-down controller with MPPT function, digital display and constant voltage and current regulation. The module is designed for use with solar panels, DC sources or batteries, making it ideal for charging lithium batteries, powering power LEDs or electronic projects.
It has a double display for reading electrical parameters, a button for switching the displayed information, separate potentiometers for adjusting voltage, current and MPPT point, as well as status LEDs for operation and charging.

The output must be connected to the battery plus the blocking diode, the anti-reverse irrigation module, otherwise the module will burn out! The diode is mounted with the cathode towards the battery to protect the module from reverse voltage, from the battery to the module.

Use:
First connect the power supply or solar panel to the input terminals respecting the polarity. Without connecting the consumer, adjust the desired output voltage from the voltage potentiometer until the displayed value is the required one. Then set the constant current using the current potentiometer, preferably with an ammeter for accuracy.
If used with a solar panel, adjust the MPPT potentiometer until the maximum output current is obtained, possibly partially covering the panel for fine adjustment. Finally, connect the battery or consumer to the output terminals. The module will maintain the set voltage and current and will automatically optimize the power taken from the solar panel.
The MPPT potentiometer adjusts the maximum power point of the solar panel.
