The USB CH341A PRO programmer is an improved version of the classic CH341A, designed for professional programming of memory chips from the 24 EEPROM (I2C) and 25 SPI Flash series, with 8 or 16 pins. Compared to the standard version, this variant comes equipped with a dedicated ZIF socket for easy insertion and removal of chips, a green adapter for 25 series chips, as well as test pins for direct circuit connections.

Built on a PCB with Immersion Gold metallization, the programmer integrates the CH341A chip, a 12MHz crystal for maximum communication stability, the AMS1117 voltage regulator for stable 3.3V or 5V power supply, and a self-resetting fuse for USB port protection on the computer.

Power and read/write indicator LEDs provide real-time visual feedback of ongoing operations.

It supports USB parallel interface (parallel port EPP and MEM), USB to UART interface, I2C, and SPI, thus being compatible with a wide range of applications.

Exposed SPI pins and the multifunctional extension allow direct integration with platforms such as Arduino, STM32, ESP32, and other compatible systems. The manufacturer confirms full support for all systems in the STM family.

Usage:

Install the CH341A driver on a Windows XP, Vista, 7, or 8 computer (32/64 bit).

Download and install the CH341A Programmer software.

Connect the programmer to the computer’s USB port and wait for automatic driver recognition.

For socketed chips (DIP): insert the chip into the ZIF socket, respecting the correct orientation (pin 1 towards the marking on the board), then tighten the locking lever.

For SMD 25 series chips: connect the green adapter to the programmer’s SPI pins and use the test pins for direct contact with the chip on the target board.

For 24 EEPROM series chips: use the corresponding adapter connected to the programmer’s I2C pins.

Open the CH341A Programmer application, select the chip type or leave automatic detection enabled.

Choose the correct operating voltage for the target chip: 3.3V or 5V.

Select the desired operation: read, write, erase, or verify.

Watch the R&W LEDs for visual confirmation of the ongoing operation.

After completing the operation, open the ZIF socket lever and carefully remove the chip.

For using the TTL port, connect the TXD, RXD, and GND pins to the target microcontroller (Arduino, STM32, ESP32, or another compatible device) and use a serial terminal for communication or online programming.
