Expansion Module

Compact hub for extending the I2C bus, allows quick and neat connection of up to 10 sensors or modules to the same microcontroller. It distributes the SDA and SCL lines in parallel to 10 ports with 2.54 mm pins, operates at 3.3-5V, and is ideal for prototyping and testing with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, or Raspberry Pi Pico.

The MCP23017 CJMCU-2317 expander module adds 16 digital input/output pins to a development board via I2C, with a configurable address from A0-A2 for up to 8 modules on the same bus, two interrupt outputs INTA and INTB, internal pull-up on each pin, and compatibility with Arduino, ESP32, STM32 and Raspberry Pi, ideal for relays, LEDs, buttons, and panels with many inputs or outputs.

Quickly expand your microcontroller's I/O with 16 I2C-controlled ports using only SDA and SCL.
