DS3231 I2C Precision RTC Module
Precision RTC module for maintaining time and calendar on Arduino and other boards, with very good stability over temperature variations. It communicates quickly via I2C, includes AT24C32 memory for data, has a programmable alarm and integrated temperature sensor. It operates at 3.3-5.5V and accepts a CR2032 battery as a backup for keeping time in the event of a power failure.

The module operates with a CR2032 battery (not included).
The module is a fully featured precision clock with a built-in calendar. The battery acts as a backup in case of power failure and can keep time for at least one year. Accuracy is well maintained even with temperature changes.
Communication with the development board is done via the I2C interface.
