This XH2.54 series electrical connector is designed to create secure, detachable connections between printed circuit boards (PCB) and cables, making it suitable for a wide range of electronic applications such as Arduino projects, 3D printers, LED strips, sensor systems, and automation. The connector has a standard 2.54 mm pitch (0.1 inch), the same as the pins on most development boards, which makes it directly compatible with prototyping boards and PCBs made for Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi Pico, or other modules with a standard 2.54 mm grid. This version has 4 pins and 90-degree (right-angle) terminals, a useful solution when the wiring needs to exit parallel to the board surface, in low-profile enclosures, or in areas where there is no space above the PCB.
The housing is made of nylon 66 (PA66), a durable and flame-retardant material that provides good electrical insulation and mechanical durability during soldering and repeated handling. The brass contacts offer low contact resistance, below 0.02 Ω, and the locking clip system prevents accidental disconnection due to vibration or slight cable pulling. The polarized housing profile allows mating in only one position, eliminating the risk of reversing the wires during installation. The connector supports a current of up to 3 A per pin and a rated voltage of 250 V AC/DC, making it suitable for both logic signals and low-power supply circuits.

Warning: although the connector is specified for 250 V AC/DC, using it in circuits connected to 220 VAC mains voltage is not recommended in hobbyist applications. The small spacing between pins (2.54 mm) provides a limited safety margin, and the contacts remain touch-accessible. For mains circuits, use dedicated connectors with a larger pitch and a protected housing.
