Voltage lowering module with XL4015 with constant voltage and current adjustable through the related multi-turn potentiometers. The voltage difference between input and output is at least 0.2VDC.

The module has two displays for voltage and current. Depending on the batch, their color may or may not be different.

The module is equipped with a serial TTL interface connected to the integrated STM8S003F3 that controls the display and, in theory, there is the possibility to read the information related to the voltage and current that are displayed, but, at least for the moment, this function has not been tested yet and we do not guarantee success in using the serial port.

The 2-pin port is not used.

The module can be used for charging batteries thanks to the CC and CV functions as well as for applications where there is a need for a constant current supply (for example, LED strip).

The maximum output current is 5A, but it should not exceed 3A in ventilated spaces or 1.5A, a value at which it works without problems in the long term.

When the module enters the DC mode, the voltage drops and the display will show an unstable voltage value, which is normal considering the fact that in the DC mode it outputs a variable wave.

To adjust the current precisely, we recommend bringing it to a small value, shorting the output and adjusting the current to the desired value. However, pay attention to the temperature of the module and try to short-circuit the output in the shortest possible time.

The accuracy of the displayed voltage is lower than the one in the specifications considering the fact that it uses a 10-bit DAC which, together with the tolerances of the other components, cannot provide an accuracy of 0.1%. If it is necessary to set precise values, use a multimeter.
