The test hook with wire and female Dupont connector is a temporary connection accessory used to quickly connect logic pins and test points of a circuit to a logic analyzer, an oscilloscope, or other measurement equipment. The hook-shaped clip grips component pins, integrated circuit terminals, or thin wires without soldering, while the female Dupont connector at the other end plugs directly onto a male pin.
The cable is approximately 28 cm long and connects the test hook to the female Dupont connector. The test hook is supplied in different colors, and the product is sold individually.
Among the main features are the spring-loaded test hook, which attaches easily to thin pins and terminals, the flexible cable, and the insulated female Dupont connector mounted at the end. The product is passive and does not require its own power supply.
Through the female Dupont connector, the hook can be used with any equipment or board that exposes male pins, such as logic analyzers, Arduino development boards, ESP32, STM32 or Raspberry Pi, pin header modules, and breadboards.

Usage:
Insert the female Dupont connector onto the male pin of the measuring equipment, for example onto a channel of a logic analyzer or onto a pin header.
Press the back of the hook to expose the gripping tip, attach it to the pin or terminal to be tested, then release it so the spring maintains contact.
Make sure the hook tip touches only the desired point and does not contact adjacent pins, especially on integrated circuits with closely spaced pins.
Do not use the hook on circuits connected to mains voltage, and do not exceed the voltage and current ratings of the connected equipment.
Always connect the common ground between the tested circuit and the measuring equipment so that the readings are accurate.
For stable results, use the shortest possible cables, check that the grip is secure, and avoid moving the cable during measurement.
