The WeMos D1 mini motor shield provides simple I2C control of two DC motors or one stepper motor, using the TB6612FNG driver with overheat protection. It delivers 1.2A per channel with short peaks up to 3.2A, accepts motor power up to 15V, and allows setting the I2C address from jumpers. Includes standby for low power consumption and fast brake for precise stopping.

This Shield is an expansion board designed to be used together with the WeMos D1 mini (shield) board, which is based on the ESP8266 Wi-Fi chip, but can also be used with other development boards via I2C communication.

The board is based on the integrated TB6612FNG, which is a high-performance motor driver with built-in overheating protections. It offers two 1.2A channels, for controlling two DC motors or a single stepper motor.

This board provides the H-bridge functionality of a Wemos D1 development board, through an easy connection.

It is controlled through the I2C interface, which allows easy integration into projects using the WeMos D1 mini or any other development board.

The I2C address of the board can be configured using the jumpers on the board.
