Lithium Polymer battery charging module, compatible with Ternary Lithium Polymer, which allows charging batteries at a voltage of 4.2VDC.
It uses the IP2312 integrated circuit which is capable of Trickle Charge. When the battery voltage is lower than 3.0V, charging is performed with a reduced current of 100mA, and after exceeding this voltage threshold, the charging current reaches up to 3A.
It uses the QC (Quick Charge) standard.
The module is powered through the USB Type-C connector or directly through the IN+ and IN- pads.
The notable feature of this module is that when it detects a voltage of 4.2V in the battery with a charging current of less than 300mA, after the CV (Constant Voltage) phase, it stops charging every 4 minutes to check if the battery voltage drops. If it is above 4.15V, charging is stopped. If it drops below 4.15V, the charging process is resumed to check again after 4 minutes. If the battery is fully charged, recharging will be resumed when the battery voltage drops below 4.1V.
It can charge up to 3A and this charging current can be adjusted by changing the value of the resistor in the picture below as follows:
- factory setting: 3A
- without resistor: 2A
- with 135k resistor: 1A

Am comandat doua module care functioneaza perfect.
Confirm si eu ca pe Type C nu se alimenteaza, nu are ce-i trebuie si sta voltajul la 3V pe pini, deci e vorba de compatibilitate. Pe alimentarea directa merge brici.
Functioneaza perfect
Am cumparat 2 bucati. Prima era defecta, mi-a pus in protectie alimentatorul USB si la fel cand am incercat alimentarea directa. La masurare arata 17 ohmi atat la intrare cat si la iesire. Al doilea modul functioneaza partial, adica nu primeste curent prin USB dar incarca daca e alimentat direct cu 5 V, si scoate 4,9 V prin mufa USB cat timp este alimentat

Ne pare rau pentru neplacerile intampinate. Am verificat lotul din stoc si nu am identificat module cu probleme similare, ceea ce sugereaza ca este posibil sa fi existat o situatie punctuala sau o neintelegere in conectare. Modulele de acest tip sunt sensibile la modul de alimentare si la polaritate — o conectare gresita, chiar pentru scurt timp, poate duce la functionare partiala sau defecta.
