RadioMaster R81 Mini receiver, with 8CH, compatible with the FrSky D8 protocol, is an ultra-compact receiver, intended for modeling and mainly used as a receiver for FPV drones, offering performance in a small design and a low weight. This 8-channel receiver offers a stable connection and a control distance of over 1 km.
It has a weight of only 2 grams and a size of 17x11 mm, being easy to integrate even in the most compact configurations, without affecting balance or maneuverability. It supports RSSI signal (radio signal strength indicator), which allows monitoring the quality of the signal in real time. The SBUS output format ensures fast and reliable transmission of control signals.

Use:
Connect the R81 Mini receiver to the control device (drone or other RC model), making sure that it is fixed firmly and that the antenna is positioned for optimal reception. Do not modify the antenna, as this affects the signal. There are specific calculation formulas to find out the optimal length of the exposed wire for an optimal signal.
Power the receiver with a voltage between 4.5V and 6V, which is usually found directly on the flight controller (regulated voltage of 5VDC). If this 5V output is missing, use a voltage regulator to provide the necessary 5V. Do not connect directly to the battery.
Pair the receiver with a compatible FrSky D8 transmitter to establish the connection.
