Usage:
The AE690D electric soldering iron connects to the power source and is turned on by pressing the power button. After turning on, the set temperature is shown on the display, and the device begins heating until the desired value is reached. The temperature can be easily adjusted using the "+" and "-" buttons, depending on the type of work and material used. The digital display allows clear temperature monitoring during use.
For repeated or long-duration tasks, the device features a temperature lock function so that the set value remains constant throughout use. Additionally, the sleep function helps reduce energy consumption and increase safety, with the soldering iron automatically entering sleep mode after a period of inactivity. The temperature unit can be switched between °C and °F, and the calibration function allows fine temperature adjustment for more precise results.
For good performance and extended lifespan, regular cleaning of the tip is recommended to remove oxide and solder residues. After use, the soldering iron should be placed on the dedicated stand and allowed to cool down safely. Use near flammable materials is not recommended, nor touching the metal parts near the tip during operation or immediately after switching off.
WARNING: Do not touch the heating element if you cannot confirm its temperature. The color of the button light serves only as a guide for the current temperature of the soldering iron tip.
