It is provided with 3 wires, two for power and the third for voltage measurement. Attention , the supply voltage is between 4 and 30 VDC . The supply is made through the Red and Black wires. The third wire (White or Yellow, depending on the batch) will be placed on the Cathode (+), which actually measures the voltage. To work, it is necessary that the circuit has a common GND.
