Current-voltage conversion module, designed to convert the current signal of 0-20mA or 4-20mA into a variable voltage signal between 0-3.3V, 0-5V or 0-10V.

This module is compatible with Arduino and STM platforms, offering a practical and reliable solution for transmitting signals over long distances, without significant signal loss, because current signals are less susceptible to intensity loss compared to voltage signals, when trying to transmit signals over longer distances.

The module uses a high-precision sampling resistor, with reduced thermal derivation and excellent stability, and has potentiometers for automatic adjustment of zero and maximum range, for a precise calibration of the signal.

Supply voltage: 7-36V (minimum 12V for 10V output)

Current input range: 0-20mA / 4-20mA

Voltage output range: 0-3.3V / 0-5V / 0-10V

Sampling component: High precision resistor, derivation ≤ 1% at 30ppm

Protection: Polarity reversal protection

 

Use:

Connect the module to a voltage source between 7-36V. If the desired output is 10V, the power supply must be at least 12V.

To set the output to minimum, adjust the ZERO potentiometer, and to set the maximum range, adjust the SPAN potentiometer, turning it clockwise to increase the value.

After connection and power, the D2 LED should light up. If not, check the connections to avoid possible errors.

Use the jumpers to configure the desired output range according to the project specifications: The available ranges are 0-3.3V, 0-5V and 0-10V, with different configurations for jumpers J1 and J2, as follows.

Range 0-2.5V:

Range 0-3.3V:

J1: disconnected

Range 0-5V:
