Three-phase DC motor driver module for brushless Hall motors, model ZS-X12H, equipped with a single chip of small size that operates at a wide voltage of 6-28V and supports up to 3.5A with short peaks of 4A , suitable for almost all small Hall motors, ensuring stable driving. Although compact in size, this driver is endowed with a multitude of functions. One of its strong points is the potentiometer on the plate, which allows speed adjustment, facilitating the fine adjustment of the motor performance according to requirements.
Designed for optimal operation, the driver comes with integrated protections: current-limit and blocking protection. This means that when the current exceeds 4A or the motor is blocked for more than 5 seconds, the device enters the protection mode to avoid damage.
It is important to emphasize that this driver is specifically created for Hall motors . As such, for the motor to function correctly, it is essential to be equipped with Hall and to connect in the correct order of the line sequence.
The change of direction is INSTANT, which is why you do not change the direction of rotation of the motor while running! This will burn the board!
Intended for use in a variety of applications, the ZS-X12H driver is ideal for air, water, oil pumps, fans and other industrial control electric motors of small size and low power. Although it has a capacity of up to 100W, it is recommended to use it with a margin, avoiding connecting to high power motors that could cause damage. To maintain the integrity of the board and its components, it is suggested to add a fuse and a diode in the power circuit, as reverse connection of the positive and negative poles can cause permanent damage.
The board has an integrated voltage regulator that supplies a constant voltage of 5V to power the Hall sensor in the motor.
As a recommendation, a maximum of 42W is recommended with 12V and a maximum of 84W with 24V .

Use:
The board has 5 connectors for the Hall sensor of the motor (2 supply the Hall sensor, 3 give the signal) marked with Ha, Hb and Hc for phases, GND and 5V for powering the sensor in the motor. As a rule, the Red and Black wires of the motor represent the power supply. The 3 connectors marked A, B and C are for the motor phases (usually the wires of the same color, thicker than the Hall signal wires) and the VCC and GND next to them are the DC voltage supply for the motor.
The module control interface will be connected to the GND, DIR, BRAK, PWM and FG connectors.
