The relay module with 8 channels and optocoupler, compatible with Arduino and other 5V development boards, designed to provide an efficient and safe solution for controlling electrical loads, whether it is industrial automation, smart home projects or DIY applications. Its main feature is the use of optocouplers to isolate high-voltage control circuits, thus providing improved protection against electrical interference and overvoltages.

It has jumpers that allow setting the trigger mode on each channel. On the same board, each relay can be individually configured to work with High or Low trigger, significantly expanding the possibilities of use.

The module needs external power, using the DC+ and DC- pins, the microcontroller not having enough power to energize the relay coil.

Inputs/outputs:

VCC or DC+: 5VDC

CTR1-CTR8: Signal trigger inputs

NO1-NO8: Normally open relay interfaces

COM1-COM8: Common relay interface

NC1-NC8: Normally closed relay interfaces

 

Use:

Connect the power supply to the VCC and GND terminals of the module, also defined by DC+ and DC-.

Connect the electrical loads to the NO (normally open) or NC (normally closed) terminals of each channel, depending on your needs. Use the COM terminal as a common point for each channel.

Each channel can be set to be activated high or low using the provided jumpers. This provides flexibility in the design of the control circuit.

Connect the control inputs (CTR1-CTR8) to the control signal source, respecting the trigger level set for each channel.

After completing the connections, the module is ready for use. The LED will show red when the relay is energized.
