The valve is NC (Normally Closed), meaning that in the absence of voltage it remains closed, and it opens when 12VDC is applied.

The construction combines brass fittings (1/2") for a secure connection with a plastic body, while the rest of the body and internal components are made of plastic, offering a good balance between cost and functionality.

The model is equipped with a protective cover for the solenoid, removable for easy access to the connections, an integrated filter that is easily accessible and cleanable through the threaded cap, as well as screw electrical connections for stable wire fastening.

It is a good choice for applications where simple and reliable flow control is desired, with the note that it must be used under proper conditions to avoid overheating and component damage.

Continuous use at maximum current can lead to overheating and failure (not covered by warranty).

The product is not frost-resistant. Damage caused by freezing is not covered by the warranty. Exposure to temperatures below 0°C may cause component cracking and void the warranty.

The FCC-11S 12VDC solenoid valve provides a variable flow rate depending on the operating pressure, making it suitable for controlling water and low-viscosity liquids in various applications. At a pressure of 0.02 MPa the flow rate is over 3 L/min, at 0.1 MPa it reaches 5 L/min, at 0.3 MPa it exceeds 10 L/min, and at 0.8 MPa it remains below 25 L/min.

Use:

The solenoid valve is used to control the flow of water or other low-viscosity liquids in installations compatible with the specified operating pressure and temperature.

For correct operation and a longer service life, the use of a resistor-capacitor circuit is recommended, because the valve requires a higher current at actuation, while the current needed to hold it open is lower. Continuous use at maximum current can cause overheating and failure, which is not covered by the warranty.

The product is not frost-resistant and must not be used or stored at temperatures below 0°C, as there is a risk of component cracking and voiding the warranty. To maintain optimal operation, the integrated filter should be checked and cleaned periodically.
