The 2W-160-15 solenoid valve is a robust device for controlling fluid flow, designed for industrial and automation applications. Its body is made of high-quality brass, which provides excellent corrosion resistance and durable sealing over time.
It operates on the electromagnetic principle: in the normal state, the valve is closed (type N.C.), and when the solenoid coil is powered with 220V AC, it generates a magnetic field that actuates an internal piston, opening the fluid passage. When the power is cut off, the valve automatically closes by mechanical return.
The 1/2 inch threaded fittings ensure quick installation and compatibility with standard pipes.
The 16 mm diameter orifice allows a consistent flow rate, and the operating pressure range between 0 and 10 kg/cm² makes it suitable for a wide variety of applications with water, air, or other fluids compatible with brass.
It operates stably between -5 and 80°C, so it can be used both in cold environments and in applications with hot fluids.

Usage:
Identify the flow direction indicated by the arrow engraved on the valve body and install the solenoid valve in the pipe respecting this direction.
Seal the 1/2" threaded connections with PTFE tape or another suitable gasket, then tighten the fittings firmly to prevent leaks.
Connect the solenoid coil wires to the 220V AC power source, respecting the applicable electrical safety standards.
To open the valve and allow fluid flow, apply the rated voltage to the coil terminals.
To close the valve and stop the flow, cut off the electrical power; the valve will automatically return to the closed position.
Periodically check the seal of the connections and the condition of the coil to ensure proper long-term operation.
