The ozone generator kit is a solution for air purification and water sterilization, consisting of a PSU powered by 220VAC and a tube.

It produces up to 0.5 g/h of adjustable ozone at a low power consumption of only 9 W, using corona discharge with a discharge distance of 0.5 mm for efficient conversion and low noise. The tube is made of high purity quartz glass, and the internal electrode is made of 316L stainless steel, a combination that offers stability, chemical resistance and a long lifespan of over 20,000 hours.

The design has compact dimensions, large dissipation surface and low temperature rise for better ozone concentration and more efficient operation.

The gas source can be air or oxygen, and the kit is designed to work with air flow up to 15 L/min and oxygen flow up to 1 L/min, with air cooling via an external (separate) fan.

The power supply is directly from the 220VAC network.

Importantly, the ozone power supply does not work alone, it must be mounted correctly together with the ozone tube, connected together, with a cooling fan for both the PSU and the Tube and with the air or oxygen source turned on before powering on.

The air source must produce the airflow. The tube itself does not draw air or pump ozone on its own.

Use:

Mount the ozone tube on an insulating plate, at least 2 cm from any metal housing, if you mount it in a metal housing add a separate ground wire.

Mount the PSU at least 3 cm from the ozone tube, metal plate or other electrical appliances, and keep a minimum of 6 cm between two PSU ozone plates.

Keep the red high-voltage wire at least 2 cm away from metal and other cables.

Provide a dry and clean air or oxygen source, connect the inlet with the recommended hose and the ozone outlet with Teflon tube. The diameter of the connectors is 7.8mm on both the inlet and outlet. There is no mandatory direction of entry or exit on the tube, the choice is purely arbitrary.

It is mandatory to install a cooling fan for the ozone tube and ozone PSU, air cooling is necessary for stable temperature and long life. Electrical discharges from the ozone tube will lead to heating of the radiator.

Insert the red clamp inside the ozone tube and connect the green wire to the ozone tube housing.

First turn on the air or oxygen source, then power the device.

Use the potentiometer to adjust the desired amount of Ozone.

Do not adjust the knobs on the Ozone PSU unless you know exactly what you are doing. The unit comes already in the optimal configuration. Incorrect adjustment can affect performance and safety and can lead to premature degradation of the kit.

To sterilize water, connect the ozone output through the Teflon tube to an air stone or venturi, then ensure diffusion into the water according to your installation.

After use, turn off the power and then the gas source, and ventilate the space if you have ozonized the air.

Potentiometer adjustment (not necessary).

We recommend NOT to modify the potentiometers on the PSU unit as they are already configured correctly from the factory.

If you wish to modify the power and linearity parameters, this is done through the two potentiometers integrated on the PSU, marked TK(203) and PH(103).

- TK(203): sets the maximum power of the ozone PSU. If you turn it to the right, the power increases, which can increase ozone production, but also increases the heat generated by the tube and PSU, requiring additional cooling.

- PH(103): adjusts the linearity of the output. Basically it adjusts how the output responds to the adjustment, so that you have a more uniform and stable increase in power over the operating range. This directly affects the power adjustment and allows for a finer adjustment of the output power. If TK(203) adjusts the maximum power, PH(103) adjusts how smoothly you increase to the maximum power.
