Internal resistance tester for batteries RC3563, is a precise and reliable measuring instrument, intended for the production and maintenance of batteries. It simultaneously measures internal resistance and battery voltage, using a 4 Wire test system to minimize the influence of contact resistance and wire resistance.
The tester reads in real time the internal resistance and the voltage of the measured battery, allowing to find out its state of health. An IR (Internal Resistance) higher than the original one of the battery (manufacturer's date) signals its degradation. The increased internal resistance automatically leads to overheating of the battery both during charging and discharging and to an excessive voltage drop when it is under load.
It is suitable when you want to make a package with several cells in series, it being imperative that the internal resistance of the inserted cells be as close as possible to avoid the package going out of balance.
The tester can be connected to the PC via USB cable and allows the real-time display and storage of information in spreadsheets of IR and Voltage values. Both the software and the driver are available in the Download section.
The LCD screen is monochrome and backlit, making it easy to read even in low ambient lighting conditions. The 4 buttons allow setting the tester.
It has an internal 1000mAh battery, rechargeable via MicroUSB cable with any phone charger capable of 5VDC.
The package includes the tester together with the spring pen type probe, the probe with pliers and the adjustable battery holder that allows the quick insertion and measurement of cells such as 18650.
This tester can also measure the AC resistance of capacitors and the resistance of resistors.

Use:
The pen type test probe comes without inserted terminals. They are delivered in a bag and it is necessary to insert them into the tips. Insert all the way, pushing the ends on a flat surface.
Start the tester by long pressing the ENTER button. Set the resistance measurement range by pressing R+ and voltage by V- if necessary (we recommend keeping the tester in automatic mode.
Connect the tester to the battery to be tested using the sample, the clamps or the support, depending on the type chosen.
Perform the measurements and read the results on the large display of the tester. If used connected to a PC, you can read and save the values directly from the computer.
Use the resistance and voltage corrections for adjustments, only if necessary.
