Connector for welding 1.75mm filament that allows the bonding of filament ends, allowing for example the welding of two filaments of different colors, but the same material.
It is made of aluminum and is compatible with 1.75mm filament. With this connector, you can reduce material waste and continue printing without interruption.
For soldering, it is necessary to use a lighter to melt the ends of the filament.

Use:
Cut the ends of the filaments to be connected, ensuring a straight section.
Insert both filaments on opposite sides and push them until they meet in the hole, leaving 1-2mm exposed. Make sure the filaments are straight, otherwise it will be difficult to push into the Teflon tube.
Heat the joint area using a heat source. Avoid exposing the Teflon to fire. Heat only the filament and do not burn the Teflon.
Slowly push the filament towards the Teflon area.
Gently pull the filament back and forth for an even joint.
After complete cooling, push the filament through the connector and cut off the excess filament.
Test the connection by gently bending it before use. If a cracking sound is heard, repeat the process.
Stabilize the filament with a finger before heating it to improve welding.
Heating time varies depending on the material – harder filaments require more time.
