SCR voltage variator with a maximum power of up to 6000w, which uses a bidirectional power thyristor that can reach a current of up to 100A. It is usually used to vary the speed of single-phase motors (operation with all motors is not guaranteed) or to resistive loads (resistive, etc...).

The variator needs to be connected to the consumer to work, otherwise, not connected, the voltage does not vary. It is not a transformer. It does not work with economical bulbs or with inductive loads.
