The Peltier cell is a thermoelectric device composed of multiple Peltier-effect junctions in series; together with Seebeck-effect devices, it is an application of the so-called "thermoelectric" systems. Its name comes from Jean Charles Athanase Peltier.

With this module, cooling or heating can be achieved using only electricity by creating a temperature difference between the two faces of the plate. The more efficient the heat dissipation on one side, the more the module will cool on the opposite side.

* The specifications regarding the module's power reflect its testing under ideal test conditions. The module behaves like a resistor. Its heating during operation leads to an increase in resistance, thus decreasing power. Use a quality heatsink and thermal paste for optimal results.

Important:

The presence of a heatsink with adequate cooling on the heated side is essential for correct operation.
