The 2W-160-15 solenoid valve is a robust flow control device designed to regulate the passage of fluids through pipes using an electromagnet. Operating on the normally closed (N.C.) principle, the valve implicitly blocks fluid flow when not electrically powered. When a 12 VDC voltage is applied to the solenoid coil, the generated magnetic field actuates an internal piston that opens the 16 mm orifice, allowing fluid flow.
When the power supply is interrupted, a return spring instantly closes the valve.
Constructed from a high-quality brass body, this solenoid valve offers excellent corrosion resistance and superior sealing.
The solenoid coil ensures a fast and stable response, efficiently cooled for continuous operation. The 1/2 inch threaded connection allows direct integration into standard installations, and the 16 mm orifice diameter guarantees a generous flow rate.
The accepted operating pressure is 0 - 10 kg/cm², and the working environment temperature can range between -5 and 80°C, making it suitable for various industrial applications, from irrigation systems and automation to cooling equipment or water supply.

Usage:
Check the flow direction indicated by the arrow engraved on the valve body before installation.
Connect the solenoid valve to the pipe using 1/2" threaded fittings, applying PTFE (Teflon) tape on the threads for proper sealing.
Tighten the fittings with an appropriate wrench, without over-tightening the brass body.
Connect the two solenoid coil wires to the 12 VDC power supply, respecting polarity if indicated on the coil.
To open the valve and allow fluid flow, apply 12 VDC voltage to the coil terminals.
To close the valve and stop fluid flow, cut off the electrical power.
Periodically check the tightness of the connections and the coil condition to ensure correct long-term operation.
