Daly's Bluetooth-enabled BMS (Battery Management System) module, 16S configuration, 58.4V, for Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LiFePo4), for monitoring, protecting and optimizing the operation of 16S battery packs, ensuring safe charging and discharging.

It features passive cell voltage balancing function, prevents overcharging and overdischarging, helping to extend cell life. It is suitable for various applications, including electric vehicles, solar systems, stationary battery banks and portable equipment.

It is capable of supporting a discharge current of up to 60A.

Passive balancing is achieved by discharging the overcharged groups using a small resistor. This can discharge with a maximum current of 100mA, meaning that it can compensate for small variations in time between cells but will not be able to compensate for large voltage differences. For this reason, only identical cells with the same specifications (internal resistance, capacity, voltage, wear, model, etc.) will be used. The voltage at which cell balancing begins is 4.0V but can be modified by the application.

Use:

Before inserting the plug into the BMS module, check the cell voltage, the normal value of the voltage of a Li-Ion cell being between 2.5 – 3.6V.

After confirming that all voltages are correct, connect the plug to the module port.

To monitor cells remotely, connect the Bluetooth module included in the package to the UART port of the BMS module and use the mobile application, available on both IOS and Android.

Make sure the connections are correct for each cell. Mount the module in a place protected from moisture, dust and extreme temperatures. Do not exceed the maximum current and voltage allowed for the model used.
