Using a compatible ammeter to read the voltage drop across the shunt, the current can be calculated using the relationship I = V/R, where V is the voltage drop and R is the resistance of the shunt.

Use:
Install the probe in series with the circuit where you want to measure the current, making sure that all connections are tight and secure.
If necessary, calibrate the meter to compensate for the 75mV voltage drop specific to this unit.
